Women’s history in the making: Our team’s proudest moments of 2024

At Pierce PR, we believe every win – big or small, professional or personal  – is worth celebrating. That’s the kind of team we are. Whether it’s a career milestone, a passion project or a life-changing moment, we show up for each other.

Our team of smart, driven women pour their talent into their work while also chasing goals outside the office. This Women’s History Month, we’re recognizing the milestones that made the last year unforgettable. Here’s more about the moments that mattered most (P.S. Professional achievements

Julia Bonner, President
“I completed my second (and final) year as board chair of Young Leaders Council, where I’ve had the privilege of serving on the board for the past six years. Stepping back is bittersweet, but I know I’ll continue to stay engaged and champion the incredible work being done by the organization and its executive director, Kim James.”

Humble as ever, Julia also was named a 2024 Most Admired CEO by Nashville Business Journal. 

Brenna Clairr Moore, Director of Operations 
“I joined Pierce PR last year as the firm’s director of operations, and I just celebrated my 1-year anniversary! I’ve loved every second of collaborating with everyone on our talented team as we implement new strategies and processes that maximize operational efficiencies and drive even greater value for our clients. 

It’s a privilege to work directly for a female leader – our president Julia Bonner – whom I deeply respect and admire, and I am so grateful to work in an environment where team members actively try to find ways to uplift, empower and care for each other.”

Bri Carlesimo, VP of Client Experience
“I became Pierce PR’s first-ever Vice President of Client Experience! I had the opportunity to help create the functions and responsibilities for the role and step into a new leadership position at Pierce, all while celebrating my 5th anniversary shortly after.”

Carson Brown, Senior Account Manager
“Two years as an account manager flew by! This past year specifically has been an incredible rollercoaster of growth, challenges and learning, and I’m beyond grateful for the chance to keep pushing my limits alongside such an amazing and supportive team.”

“Starting a new job in a new city was a big leap for me, and it was one of the most rewarding challenges of my year. Joining Pierce PR has pushed me to grow in new ways, and I’m excited for what 2025 has in store for me!”

Carson Grace Burchette, Account Manager
“Last year, I was promoted to account manager at Pierce PR! It was an incredibly rewarding milestone, and one I’ll always remember. This role has challenged me in new and unexpected ways, and I’m looking forward to continuing that growth through whatever comes next!”

Jordan Holt, Account Manager
“Last year, I joined Pierce PR as an account manager and celebrated my one-year anniversary in February. It’s been an incredible experience to be around other women in public relations across all levels at Pierce. My motivation and passion for this field has grown exponentially, and I’ve loved seeing my personal growth and skillset expand.”

Personal achievements

Julia
“Ending the year in good health, both for myself and my family, felt like a major success and something I’ve never appreciated more. In 2024, we faced an unexpected medical scare that could have drastically changed our lives. Thankfully, by year’s end, that chapter was behind us, and I couldn’t have been more grateful.”

Brenna Clairr (BC)
“My daughter turned 1 last June, and we celebrated in my hometown of Anchorage, Alaska with my husband, parents and siblings with party hats, homemade cake and lots of singing. It was such a special day and marked one year of motherhood for me as well – the best and most fulfilling year of my life. I had a front-row seat to many developmental milestones during my daughter’s first year of life, but I will never forget hearing her first laugh – my favorite sound in the entire world. Becoming a mother is the greatest gift I have ever received.”

Bri
“I’m very lucky to have had a pretty good 2024, but one of my favorite accomplishments was standing by my best friend’s side as her maid of honor. We’ve been friends since we were 8 years old, and to celebrate and support this exciting milestone with her was nothing short of incredible.”

Carson
“I traveled to Bali with my best friend of 20 years and had a truly life-changing experience. We hiked an active volcano, Mt. Batur, in the dead of night to witness the most incredible sunrise (pictured below), the like of which I’ll probably never see again. I’ve never felt so humbled and deeply connected to the Earth, and the experience is something I reflect on nearly every day.”

Allie
“I got back into reading in 2024. As a former Accelerated Reader, I forgot how fun it was to finish a new book. Now, I read for fun instead of competition, but I still get a thrill from adding another book to my read list! If you’re looking to add to your TBR list, I recommend the ‘Practical Magic’ series.”

Carson Grace
“On my birthday last year, I did something I never imagined I would. I ran my first half marathon at Disney World! It took an incredible amount of dedication and training, but crossing that finish line was one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. I’m pretty proud of myself for making it happen!”

Jordan
“I’m a huge reader, and I hit a personal milestone of finishing 135 books in 2024. Reading is an escape and an essential part of my day, and I’m proud to say that I traveled to 135 different (fictional) places.”

The best is yet to come

The past year has taught us that growth comes in many forms. Our team stepped into new leadership roles, pushed personal limits and embraced all the change thrown at us. Every moment helped us get to where we are today and to this Women’s History Month. 

It’s a pertinent reminder that progress is made in small steps. This might be our 10th anniversary, but Pierce PR is just getting started. Here’s to everything the next year has in store!
