Account Manager

Pierce PR is looking for an Account Manager to join our team of energetic and thoughtful professionals. As Account Manager, you’ll play an integral role in telling our clients’ stories. The ideal candidate possesses digital marketing skills, a love of learning and a knack for connecting the dots. 

What’s in it for you? This is a remote role that is part of a dynamic, collaborative team. Variety will be the name of the game - with no two days looking the same. You’ll help manage a variety of B2B clients, have access to development opportunities to build and grow your PR skills and be a key representative of the firm in both the industry and community.

what you'll do

  • Serve as the day-to-day contact for assigned clients; organize and lead regular client meetings/calls
  • Design, develop and implement strategic email campaigns
  • Analyze email marketing campaigns, arrange and present data and provide suggestions or recommendations for improvements
  • Write and edit press releases, pitches, bylined articles, blogs, and other external and internal communications pieces
  • Work closely with senior management to provide strategic direction and insight related to account activities
  • Manage social media accounts (draft, schedule, post and analyze results)
  • Support blog development (drafting/reviewing copy, graphic creation, publishing)
  • Demonstrate ownership to train and mentor junior team members and new hires
  • Participate in new business activity including research, public relations plan development, and competently present in new business meetings
  • Conduct and present website and newsletter analytics (Google Analytics, MailChimp, etc.)
  • People describe you as a proactive thinker, thoughtful communicator & team player
  • You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, relevant business experience
  • 2-3 years of post-college PR agency experience; experience with professional services / B2B clients preferred
  • Graphic design experience and familiarity with common platforms (Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, etc.)
  • Possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Enthusiasm for our clients and our work
  • Client-focused and strategy-minded – you’re able to anticipate client needs and continually develop ways to drive business forward
  • Love to multitask; able to work with multiple clients simultaneously

2022 Fall Intern

Are you a talented writer with an entrepreneurial spirit? Always thinking of creative strategies and have the drive to become a PR pro? Looking to sharpen your PR skills while getting college credit (and while having a lot of fun)?

Pierce PR is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern. What’s in it for you? You’ll receive hands-on experience with copywriting, graphic design and social media content development. what you'll do

Assist team members in tasks such as:
  • Research and update media lists
  • Copywriting (blogs, emails, social media, etc.)
  • Graphic design (social media graphics, client collateral, etc.)
  • Assist with client proposal research
  • Monitor media for client coverage
  • Collaborate on projects, as needed

about you

  • Currently pursuing a BA or BS in public relations, communications, or similar field at an accredited college or university
  • Outstanding knowledge of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok)
  • Research and analytical skills
  • Experience with copywriting and editing
  • Ability to prioritize projects
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Available 5-10 hours a week during normal business hours, Monday-Friday
