Ten years of Pierce PR: A thank you to our founder, Julia Bonner

Ten years ago, you had a vision. You set out to build a different kind of public relations agency – one rooted in partnership over ego, one that valued people over buzz and one that believed doing the right thing would always be the right strategy. 

From the beginning, you infused this agency with values that still guide us today, including one of our most important: gratitude. That mindset shows up in the way we treat our clients, our team and each other. And today, we want to reflect that same gratitude back to you. 

Now, over a decade later, we want to pause for a moment to say thank you. Not just for building Pierce Public Relations, but for creating a place that has shaped so many careers, relationships and lives, including ours. 

We’ve had the honor of being part of over half of Pierce’s journey. In that time, we’ve seen firsthand what makes this place different. It’s not just the clients we serve, the stories we tell or the industries we help grow; it’s the way you lead: with heart, vision and a belief that people always come first.

Thank you for trusting us to help shape the future of this firm. 

Thank you for creating a space where ideas are heard, growth is encouraged and success is shared. 

Thank you for showing that leadership is not about being the loudest voice in the room, but about being thoughtful and clear in your purpose. 

Thank you for reminding us every day that the best partnerships – with clients and with teammates – are built on trust, care and consistency. 

And thank you for giving us one of the greatest gifts we could have asked for: our friendship. It likely never would have happened if it weren’t for you and Pierce. Building this company brought us together, and for that, we’ll be forever grateful. 

Pierce PR’s strength has always been its people, and Julia, that starts with you. As we celebrate this milestone, we are proud of how far Pierce has come and even more excited for what is ahead. The story you started writing 10 years ago is still just getting started, and we are honored to be part of the next chapters.
