Project Goals & Challenges

Following a successful project-based engagement in downtown Nashville, Reeves Young expanded its partnership with Pierce Public Relations to support the growth of its Nashville office. The goal was to establish a strong, scalable communications foundation that would elevate the firm’s presence, strengthen leadership visibility and position the office as a key player in Nashville’s competitive and rapidly growing construction market.

Key Challenges:

While Reeves Young’s Nashville office had strong operational momentum, it lacked a localized PR and communications strategy to support its next phase of growth. The firm had limited media visibility in the region, with few opportunities highlighting leadership, project work or market insights. There was no established email marketing program to maintain consistent touchpoints with clients and prospects, and digital presence, particularly on LinkedIn, was underutilized. At the same time, competitors in the Nashville market were actively investing in visibility, making it critical for Reeves Young to quickly establish a recognizable and credible presence.

Our Strategic Approach

Pierce PR developed and implemented a localized visibility strategy designed to support both business development and brand recognition in Nashville. The approach utilized Jennifer Kinsey, General Manager, Commercial Business Unit Leader, to drive consistent, multi-channel visibility for the Reeves Young Nashville office. By combining earned media, owned content and digital amplification, the program created a repeatable system for staying top of mind with key audiences.

Unique Tactics & Execution

To accelerate market entry and credibility, Pierce PR led targeted background interviews with key Nashville media outlets, including Nashville Business Journal, The Tennessean and Nashville Post, helping shape early perceptions and lay the groundwork for ongoing coverage. We also conducted media training and developed a best-practices toolkit to ensure consistent, confident messaging across interviews and contributed content. LinkedIn was transformed into a primary visibility engine through a full audit, strategic recommendations and ongoing content development, allowing Jennifer to consistently share insights, amplify media wins and engage directly with the local business community. In parallel, we launched a dedicated Reeves Young Nashville newsletter, creating an owned platform to maintain relationships, share updates and reinforce the firm’s presence between in-person interactions.

Key Campaign Elements:

The program included a steady cadence of guest articles and executive profiling opportunities tied to Nashville’s growth and construction trends, supported by interview preparation and post-interview amplification. Ongoing LinkedIn content development and reporting ensured consistent visibility and engagement, while the launch of a localized newsletter provided a direct line of communication with clients, partners and prospects. Award nominations for the team further reinforced credibility and elevated both established and emerging leaders within the organization.

Results & Impact

Within 6 months, Reeves Young Nashville was featured in stories across local and industry media, including guest articles and interviews in outlets like The Tennessean, Nashville Business Journal, Construction Dive and Construction Executive that positioned the firm as regional and industry leaders. The newsletter launch exceeded expectations, achieving open rates approximately 7% above industry benchmarks and establishing a consistent communication channel with key audiences. Jennifer’s LinkedIn presence has grown significantly, with an engagement rate exceeding 11%, well above industry averages, demonstrating strong resonance with her audience. Additionally, the team was recognized across emerging leader award programs, further strengthening the firm’s credibility and visibility.

Measurable Outcomes:

bEFORE AND AFTER COMPARISON:

Prior to this engagement, Reeves Young’s Nashville office had limited structured visibility and relied primarily on existing relationships to drive growth. Today, the office has a cohesive communications strategy in place, with consistent media coverage, a growing digital presence and a direct line of communication with clients and prospects. Leadership visibility has expanded, reinforcing Reeves Young’s position in the Nashville market and supporting broader business development efforts.

By aligning executive voice, media engagement and owned content platforms, Reeves Young Nashville established a consistent and credible presence in a highly competitive market. The program highlights the value of building a repeatable visibility
system – one that not only elevates leadership but also supports long-term business development and office growth.
