  • Why Liz loves it: “My favorite place during grad school to get studying done with a killer latte and yummy breakfast in hand. You can also try their sister coffee shop, Bongo Java, located just down the road across from Belmont!”

Elliston Place: Known for retro vibes and hidden gems

Buffalo Exchange – by Liz

  • Why Liz loves it: “While Buffalo Exchange is technically a chain thrift store, this location gives off a curated local vibe and offers styles specific to the Nashville scene. I’ve found the cutest coats, boots, hats, jeans, oversized band t-shirts; you name it, you might salvage it!”

5th & Taylor – by Allie

  • Why Allie loves it: “I love that it’s in my neighborhood and nice enough for date night, but also casual enough to take friends visiting town!”

It’s also adjacent to the Bicentennial Mall State Park and the Tennessee State Museum, so it’s easy to make a whole day out of your visit!”

  • Why Kate loves it: “The vibes are amazing, the drink menu is fun and the food menu will have you dreaming about Italian food for weeks. My favorite restaurant ever!”
